12.22.16 Blue Globe update.
The pipe arrived very well packaged for shipping, Overall the fit & finish is exceptional, The continents are clearly recognizable.
I have smoked a wide variety of tobaccos from pressed Navy flakes to OTK "Drug store" brands to Tinned mixes, all of which smoked quite well.
The size & shape of the tobacco chamber with the diameter of the stem were a very good match, passing a pipe cleaner through with ease, very nice draw and kept all of the different types of tobacco burning needing minimal relights once started.
The smoke is cool, dry, and the bowl stays cool start to finish. Once again, Altinok has make a winner.
Note to a first time buyer, shop with ease, these pipes are all winners! and to the veteran "Piper", be ready to buy your next "Favorite" pipe.

EXCITED!!, I just ordered my 2nd Altinok pipe after way too long of a wait.
My first pipe was the Bailey's delight which was a Semi Large to Large pipe W/ 2 stems.
If you care to dig back and read my testimonial on the Bailey's Delight it will be back around page 105, post date was January 10, 2005 and it started with the word SPEECHLESS! So you can imagine my excitement of waiting for the next one to arrive.
A word to all those who have yet to get one of these, The photos really, Really do not do the pipes justice, The details just cannot be accurately represented by photos.
So, how do they feel in your hand? They fit like a glove!, Light, Great balance, the smoke is cool & dry & draw is perfect.
I will post a follow up in a few weeks to advise how "we" are getting along and also to cause a bit of "Jealousy".

I could write many words. I will keep it brief. Great pipe. Great smoking. Better than any Briar I have had,.... and I have had some nice ones. Beautiful carving. The case it comes in is a work of art in and of itself.
