I received my Altinok pipe about 14 days ago and I must say I was impressed. The calabash is really beautiful... and I was even more surprised how big it is. As this is my first meerschaum pipe (I only smoked briar ones previously), I had to test its smoking qualities, so it took me quite some time to reply here. I smoked the pipe several times now and the smoke is excellent. I filled the pipe with my favorite Balkan (latakia) tobacco and was rewarded by cool smoke from the start. The tobacco itself is high grade of course, but in such big pipe the smoke is really cold. The material itself (meerschaum) gives no additional taste and lets the tobacco's palate fully develop. I am very satisfied with the pipe and will recommend your shop.

Glad to let you know that I’ve received the pipes today, they were lying gently on my desktop while I arrived my office on Monday morning, what a pleasure~ The IMP157 is just what I imagined, excellent! Anyway, the ME569 looks more like the ME568 bulldog smooth, and, do new meerschaum pipes smell a little acid and salty? Hah, never mind, this is a very nice experience to trade over seas and it ran neatly. Looking forward to have more buys in your shop in the near future.

The shape is different from what I expected, the IM112 on your website's pictures is a quarter-bent, mine is a half-bent. This is not a problem though. You did a great job and I'm already thinking about a new order.

The two fine pipes which I ordered were safely delivered. Their smooth and cool smoke are a delight, and the meerschaum is truly of the best quality. I have only to hope now that my XVIIth century old Turkish pipe, which I have lost in my garden will appear again!

I received your two pipes last week end and I was very impressed by the craftsmanship. They are quite different from meerschaum pipes I've seen here in Belgium, and the cases are first quality too. They are very easy and enjoyable to smoke and i'll try to give them colours by carefully smoking.

I was presented with my birthday "surprise" Giant Dragon yesterday; it is superb. The quality of the block is evident and Ismail's carving and detailed work is stunning - at least as good, and in my view exceeding, the example pictured on your website. I've opened the stems up a bit (always a meer difficulty for me as I like a very open draw) without any problems. Thank you so much for your service; I'd be grateful if you'd also pass my thanks and appreciation to Ismail Baglan for his great craftsmanship.

I received the second pipe and I must say that the level of details is just astonishing! I still haven’t smoked it, while I already smoked about twenty times the first one (the Friedrich Nietzsche portrait). I really enjoyed it, and it is gradually getting coloured (mainly the lower part until now. The resemblance of the portrait to its model is really really good (also the famous “Nietzsche’s look”), and this is the most important thing, even if some minor details of the pipe are not perfect (e.g. the back side). In the future, I’m surely going to enlarge my philosophers’ collection.
